Ñora
“An indescribably vivid and completely neutral soundstage, supported by wonderfully textured and deep bass.”
Gerd Büsse, Technic3D
Our Ñora loudspeaker was unveiled at the AAA Analog Forum 2024 and was described in detail in the Technic3D review following consistently outstanding feedback. Each model is custom-built upon order, allowing us to accommodate your personal preferences—from the choice of veneer to custom paint finishes, which are applied in collaboration with an experienced automotive painter. We prioritize sustainable materials and consciously avoid tropical woods, while offering a wide variety of veneers to choose from. Thanks to our long-standing partnership with trusted craft workshops, the result is a loudspeaker that not only looks stunning but also meets the highest standards in sound quality.
Data Overview
| Enclosure | Low-resonance sandwich construction with 20 mm wall thickness. Mechanically tuned to the rear radiation characteristics. Damping based on a resonance matrix. Active enclosure opening implemented with mechanical and acoustic flow resistances! A 30 mm granite base is an integral part of the tuning and is securely bolted to the enclosure. |
| Dimensions | W x H x D: 190 mm x 1050 mm x 290 mm |
| Weight | 24 kg |
| Volume | 58 dm³ |
| Mid-bass driver | Anodized aluminum cone with radial embossing. Sensitivity: 118 cm². Copper-plated pole piece for controlled inductive load. Defined driver geometry. High-damping edge suspension, supported by long-term stable centering. 35.5 mm GRP voice coil. Low-resonance, aerodynamically optimized basket. |
| Tweeter | Aluminum/magnesium alloy dome tweeter with DXT® WaveGuide. Sensitivity: 7.5 cm². Exceptional wide-range performance and low distortion for fatigue-free, long-term listening. Thanks to the special design of the front panel, horizontally and vertically optimized dispersion angles create large “shared” listening zones. This structure also ensures better alignment with the dispersion characteristics of the low-midrange driver! |
| Crossover | An even-order all-pass filter satisfies the constant-phase and constant-amplitude conditions |
| Transition frequency | 2100 Hz |
| System resonance | Installation resonance 40 Hz, aperiodically damped! |
| Transmission range | As with all electromechanical transducers, this depends on the installation conditions! The dispersion is optimized for 15°–30°! Generally speaking: 40 Hz – 22 kHz (+/- 1.5 dB) |
| Sound pressure level | 86 dB at 2.83 volts input voltage at 1 m with pink noise! |
| Impedance | 4Ω |
| Design | Various veneers and finishes are available upon request. |
| Warranty | 36 months |
| Development and Harmonization |
Development and harmonization with CAD support; the rest is done the conventional way, by ear |
| Development time | 18 months |
| Price | The base model of the Ñora costs €5,400 per pair. Additional costs may apply depending on customization. |
